Prioritize content over formatting. Make sure your experiences are the primary focus of your documents.
Always submit your documents in PDF format. Other file types tend to get the formatting messed up in transit.
Your bullet points should show, rather than tell, about your interpersonal skills. Keep it short and sweet.
Read your documents aloud to catch simple grammatical errors.
